There are miscellaneous printed booklets, some unbound, and some pages may have been separated from their original booklet. There appear to be five distinct booklets:1. A translation to Gaelic of Joseph Alleine's religious work 'An alarm to the Unconverted', originally published in 1672. Scope and Contents
This is a transcription of the Gaelic version of the Latin poem by Statius, 'Thebaid'. The manuscript NLS.72.1.8,ff-28 is held at the National Library of Scotland. It is suggested on page 195 that this manuscript is based on an old French translation of the original Latin text.
